Aspherical mirror testing using a CGH with small errors.

چکیده
A method for reducing errors in aspherical mirror testing using a computer-generated hologram (CGH) is described. By using a modified filtering method the carrier frequency in the CGH can be reduced by twothirds, and the resulting error due to distortion is only one-half of that of a conventional CGH. By adopting a Fizeau-type optical setup, only the surface quality of the reference affects the measured results.

Convex Aspherical Surface Testing Using Catadioptric Partial Compensating System
Aspheric optical components are the indispensable part of modern optics systems. With the constant development of aspheric optical fabrication technique, the systems with large aperture convex aspheric optical components are widely used in astronomy and space optics. Thus, the measurement of the figure error of the whole convex aspherical surface with high precision comes to be a challenge in t...
متن کاملMeasurement of Highly Parabolic Mirror using Computer Generated Hologram
For evaluating the surface of parabolic mirror (90 mm, F/0.76), two different null test have been discussed. After designing, encoding, and fabricating the CGH(computer generated hologram), the null CGH test was performed. An autocollimation test with a flat mirror was also performed and these testing result were compared
متن کاملOne-dimensional neutron focusing with large beam divergence by 400mm-long elliptical supermirror
Reflective optics is one of the most useful techniques for focusing a neutron beam with a wide wavelength range since there is no chromatic aberration. Neutrons can be focused within a small area of less than 1 mm 2 by high-performance aspherical supermirrors with high figure accuracy and a low smooth substrate surface and a multilayer interface. Increasing the mirror size is essential for incr...
متن کاملPhase errors in high line density CGH used for aspheric testing: beyond scalar approximation.
One common way to measure asphere and freeform surfaces is the interferometric Null test, where a computer generated hologram (CGH) is placed in the object path of the interferometer. If undetected phase errors are present in the CGH, the measurement will show systematic errors. Therefore the absolute phase of this element has to be known. This phase is often calculated using scalar diffraction...
متن کاملI-35: Polar Body Analysis by Array CGH Identifies Women with Varying Susceptibility to Aneuploidy and Suggests that Non-disjunction Is Not The Predominant Mechanism Leading to Aneuploidy in Humans
Background: The maternal age effect for trisomy is well known. However what is less established is whether certain women are more (or less) prone to segregation errors, independent of age. Trisomy arises primarily through maternal meiosis I chromosome segregation errors however the precise mechanism by which these errors occur is unclear. Current dogma attributes the origin of trisomy to malseg...
